Spring is Almost Here

Spring and summer are getting close. I'll sure be glad when the good weather is here for good. I have about had it with the snow. Cold and rain don't bother me, but after being snowed in this winter I hope we never have that much snow again.

It did give me lots of time to experiment with my electronics and practice some new songs. My band Tombstoner has some good shows lined up. We hope to be doing "The Crystal Ship" at our next up coming show. I have never done a Doors cover before so I hope we do it justice. I love the Doors though. I think their first album is the reason that I'm a musician. My Mom bought it for me at a garage sale when I was 14 and the rest is history!

I did get a short Vacation in the middle of it all though to San Diego. Sarah and I made it a road trip down there in January to see her Grandma. Pretty fun trip except for the Tourist Ticket Trap BS in Down town San Fransisco. I don't even want to rehash it but let me put it this way. After the way we were treated by San Fransisco we will NEVER be back. San Diego on the other hand is about the most tourist friendly place I have ever been and I look forward to going back as many times as I can.
